Chapter 5
Time flew by quickly—it was already close to midnight.
I had arrived at Zhou Si’s place around seven in the evening, and not long after dinner, we started doing… well, things that can’t really be described. The scene changed from the sofa to the bedroom, and then to the floor-to-ceiling window. After our first round ended and I answered Zhou Wan’s call, Zhou Si carried me to the bathroom for a shower. I never would’ve thought that even a shower could turn into something else entirely—it was really an eye opener.
That shower took at least an hour and a half. Right now, my limbs are like jelly. I can’t even stand properly.
So yeah, if you think about it, I’ve been with Zhou Si for at least four hours straight. I finally understand what people mean when they say there’s a real gap between people. But I have to admit—it was amazing.
Tonight, it felt like I fully transformed into a woman. Say what you want, but I have to thank Zhou Si. That’s the advantage of older men—they’re experienced, they’ve seen the world, they know a lot, and they definitely have tricks up their sleeve.
But right now, Zhou Si wasn’t even in the room. No idea where he went.
I didn’t have the energy to care, honestly. After being completely exhausted physically, I felt like I had been reborn.
There were a bunch of messages from my boyfriend, Chen Zhicheng, on my phone. He seemed pretty worried, asking where I went and whether I’d be coming home tonight.
But I deliberately didn’t reply.
The last message from him had come an hour ago. He said:
[Xie Li, even if you’re sulking, there’s a limit. Who’s going to keep pampering you forever?]
I couldn’t hold back and replied:
[Go to hell!]
Right after I sent that, my phone died.
I curled up on Zhou Si’s soft bed, staring at the handprints still fogged up on the floor-to-ceiling window. At the time, Zhou Si was standing behind me, my hands were pressed against the glass, and he kept kissing me gently, trying to calm me down, telling me to relax. He even interlocked his fingers with mine. I never knew things could be like that. Honestly, I feel like the past 22 years of my life were a completely in vain.
My dress, which Zhou Si had ripped apart, was lying there pitifully on the floor. I was just about to call out for him when he suddenly appeared again out of nowhere.
He was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts, his short hair slightly messy over his forehead, looking pretty fresh and sunny—kind of had that college boy vibe.
I said to him, “I was just about to look for you.”
Zhou Si grinned, “What? You want more?”
I rolled my eyes and pointed at the floor. “You owe me a dress.”
To my surprise, Zhou Si pulled out a dress from behind him like a magician and handed it to me. “Here, make do with this.”
I glanced at it. “Whose is this?”
Zhou Si smiled, a little mischievously. “What do you think?”
I said, “I’m not wearing something another woman’s worn.”
“It’s new.”
“New?” I scoffed. “Probably bought for some other girl. Wow, Brother Zhou, your place is really well-stocked.”
He flicked my forehead with his finger and said, “It’s Zhou Wan’s. She bought it and left it here, never wore it.”
Zhou Wan’s? Then I definitely didn’t want to wear it.
Zhou Si must’ve noticed the look on my face, because he raised a brow. “What? You don’t want to wear it?”
I nodded. “Don’t want to.”
Zhou Si nodded too, slowly. Then, right in front of me, he pulled off his shirt.
I instinctively leaned back, thinking he was going to pounce again, and quickly protested, “What are you doing?”
He just tossed the shirt at me and said, “Then wear mine.”
I looked at him with disgust. “Who wants to wear your clothes?”
“Fine. Then go naked. Not like there’s anything I haven’t seen already,” he said while leaning in, lifting my chin, and kissing me lightly on the lips. His voice was lazy and teasing. “And besides, I’ve already tasted everything I wanted.”
I pinched his waist hard in return, his abs were solid, slippery even.
Zhou Si really had a great body. Before I ever saw him fully, I didn’t quite believe the whole “eight-pack abs” thing. Zhou Wan used to brag about how fit her brother was, and now I get it. Totally convinced.
I couldn’t really go around naked, so I threw on his shirt, still warm from his body. It was big enough that I didn’t even need pants.
Zhou Si asked, “Can you walk?”
I looked at him suspiciously. “Why?”
“I made some food.”
After all that, I was honestly starving.
Turns out, when he vanished earlier without a word, he had gone to make late-night snacks.
I was about to get off the bed, but as soon as I put weight on my legs, they gave out. Zhou Si caught me right away and picked me up effortlessly, grinning wickedly. “Why are you so weak?”
“You’re the one who’s weak!”
“I’m weak?” His hand slid around my waist and gave a light squeeze. “Sounds like I haven’t satisfied you enough.”
I know when to back down. “Okay okay okay, you’re the best. Our Brother Zhou is the most amazing in the whole world.”
Zhou Si burst out laughing, looking completely pleased with himself.
The snack he made was wontons, cooked himself. Local style—with seaweed, dried shrimp, and pickled mustard greens.
I noticed that my bowl didn’t have green onions, but his did.
So he remembered I don’t like green onions. That surprised me a bit.
After we finished eating, it was already 12:30 a.m. I told him I wanted to go home.
The smile on Zhou Si’s face instantly disappeared, but he didn’t try to stop me. He just said he’d drive me.
It was already late, and I didn’t feel too safe taking a cab alone. Plus, my dress was wrecked, and I was still wearing his shirt.
Since he was going to drop me off, I didn’t bother changing—just left in his clothes.
After graduating college, I had moved out to live with my boyfriend, Chen Zhicheng. Now I was renting in a mid-tier apartment complex, about thirty minutes from Zhou Si’s place.
The roads were pretty empty this late, and we hit all green lights.
I sat in the passenger seat, lost in thought, thinking back on everything with Chen Zhicheng. I didn’t feel sad or heartbroken—just empty.
We arrived at my apartment complex, but I hadn’t even realized. Zhou Si had to remind me, “We’re here.”
I snapped back to reality, thanked him, and got out of the car.
There was no one at the gate, just the glow of the streetlights.
I had barely taken two steps when Zhou Si called out, “Xiao Lizhi.”
I turned around, startled. “Huh?”
He strode up to me and, without a word, kissed me.
I didn’t resist. In fact, I reached up and grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer. After everything tonight, I was already used to his presence, his scent, his touch.
I don’t know how long the kiss lasted. Eventually, Zhou Si pulled back, his voice low and husky. “Wanna come back with me?”
Just then, an angry voice cut through the night air.
“Xie Li!”
It was Chen Zhicheng.
He was standing not far away under a streetlight, staring at me and Zhou Si—who were still in each other’s arms—with a look of disbelief on his face.
